Just a few minutes from Gubbio, and situated right on the border of Umbria and Marche, Ca’Paravento is surrounded by forested hills and beautiful countryside, 500 meters above sea-level.
Ca’Paravento is a B&B and country house, comprised of two adjacent stone buildings, probably dating back to the beginning of the 18th century. The buildings were fully renovated in 2010 and offer modern amenities and comfort.

History
Ca’ Paravento (we found this name in the old maps) is a property of four hectares featuring two wood and stone buildings typical of the Apennines mountains. The original structures date back to the 18th century, and were abandoned after World War 2, around 1950.
When we first saw the property in 2006, only a few walls were still standing; all the original stones were on the ground, and we were able to reuse them to preserve the original constructive form.
It took three years, tons of love, and finally, in 2010, Ca’ Paravento was restored to its original beauty!
